Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane has reassured supporters that he is fit and raring to go for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Manchester United.
The Senegal international struck twice in last weekend's 4-1 FA Cup victory over a youthful Aston Villa side, but he had to come off with a hip problem 15 minutes before full time.
Mane's substitution sparked fears that he might not be available for the visit of table-toppers Man United, but the winger has since affirmed that he is "completely fine" and ready for Sunday's game.
Speaking to the official Liverpool website, Mane said: "It was just a knock and when I got it, it took a few minutes to settle down.
"It was like a dead leg, but on my hip – not my back. After the game, I put an ice pack on it and it was fine. I am completely fine and looking forward."
Liverpool find themselves three points behind Man United in the table before Sunday's crunch match at Anfield, and Leicester City also leapfrogged the champions into second with a 2-0 win over Southampton on Saturday.
