Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that he expects Alexis Sanchez to recover from a hamstring injury and return to the Manchester United squad before pre-season ends.
Sanchez endured a torrid 2018-19 campaign at Old Trafford that was often marred by hamstring problems, with the Chilean managing just one goal from 20 Premier League appearances.
The 30-year-old suffered a recurrence of the same problem during Chile's third-place playoff defeat against Argentina in the Copa America.
Speaking to The Mirror at a press conference in Perth, Solskjaer claimed that Sanchez's injury would not delay his return to action in three weeks' time after his holiday.
"I don't think Alexis's injury was too bad," he said.
"When he's due back is three weeks after his last game, so that will be just after we come back from tour. I would expect him to be fit enough to play straightaway and train straightaway."
Solskjaer, speaking in his first press conference of the club's pre-season tour, also added that United had not received any bids for Paul Pogba, who declared he wanted a "new challenge" last month.
United will take on Perth Glory, Leeds United, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan during their tour of Australia, Singapore and China.
