Tottenham Hotspur manager Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Bryan Gil is doubtful for Saturday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.
The 20-year-old started Wednesday's EFL Cup encounter with Burnley but had to be taken off after only 25 minutes after sustaining a hamstring injury.
Speaking during his pre-game press conference, Santo refused to rule Gil out of the contest but admitted that the highly-rated starlet may not be able to feature.
"Let's see. Bryan we have a problem with. We are assessing. [Ryan] Sessegnon is not involved, still not in the group. Normal knocks after the game," Santo told reporters.
Gil has one assist to boast from 11 games in all competitions for Spurs since arriving from Sevilla but has only played 57 minutes of Premier League football so far this term.
The Lilywhites occupy sixth spot in the table ahead of the clash with Man United, who are one point and one place below their upcoming hosts.
