Manchester United will be without at least five players including summer signing Mason Mount for Saturday's Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
Mount is allegedly facing up to six weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Tyrell Malacia (muscle), Tom Heaton (calf), Amad Diallo (knee) and Kobbie Mainoo (ankle) are also ruled out through injury, but the Red Devils could be boosted by the return to fitness of big-money signing Rasmus Hojlund, who has trained and could be in a position to make his debut after recovering from a back problem sustained before he joined from Atalanta BC earlier this month.
Out-of-favour Harry Maguire could also return after missing the defeat at Spurs due to an ankle issue, but the centre-back is expected to remain in reserve as Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez continue to link arms at the heart of the defence for Erik ten Hag's side, protecting Andre Onana between the sticks.
While Luke Shaw continues at left-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will hope to keep his place at right-back ahead of Diogo Dalot, while the absence of Mount should see either Christian Eriksen or Scott McTominay handed a start in centre-midfield alongside Casemiro and captain Bruno Fernandes.
Marcus Rashford is expected to lead the line once again as Hojlund and Anthony Martial are not deemed 100% fit, while Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho will battle for starts on the flanks.
Manchester United possible starting lineup: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Fernandes, Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Rashford, Sancho
