Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has backed his side to cause an upset when they face Manchester United in the League Cup quarter-finals.
The Potters welcome United to the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday with a place in the semi-finals at stake.
Stoke were narrowly beaten 3-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League two months ago, and Hughes wants his players to put in a similarly dogged display tomorrow.
"We will take confidence from the fact that we performed so well at Old Trafford earlier in the season," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.
"We scored two very good goals and were unfortunate not to see the game out. Hopefully we can do this on Wednesday and secure ourselves a passage into the next stage.
"It is down to us to stop them though. We know that if we play to our maximum we have a real chance of winning the game."
Stoke come into the match on the back of last weekend's goalless draw at Hull City in the Premier League.
