Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly rest David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly for Wednesday night's EFL Cup tie against Northampton Town.
The Red Devils head to Sixfields as overwhelming favourites to progress into the next phase of the competition, but they have lost their last three games - two Premier League fixtures and a Europa League match.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho has decided to leave out De Gea, Pogba and Bailly from the squad after all three started against Feyenoord in midweek and Watford on Sunday.
Today, the senior players who did not feature at the weekend played in a small-sided match against the club's Under-18s, with reports claiming that 17-year-old DJ Buffonge impressed.
The newspaper also reports that Mourinho will not include any of the Under-23s in his squad for tomorrow's tie.
