Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere will play no part in the Gunners' League Cup tie at Reading on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old made his return to action against Queens Park Rangers at the Emirates Stadium today following a 14-month layoff with ankle and knee injuries.
Wenger also remained coy on whether the England international will feature against Manchester United at Old Trafford next Saturday.
"Now, after a game like that, I will certainly not play him on Tuesday [against Reading in the Capital One Cup]," said Wenger.
"Will I play him [at Manchester United] next week? I don't know."
Arsenal won today's game 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mikel Arteta.
