Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is reportedly interested in becoming the next Manchester United boss amid growing speculation over the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer was initially handed the United reins on a temporary basis until the end of the season after Jose Mourinho's sacking in December, but 14 wins from his first 17 games at the helm earned him a permanent deal until 2022.
However, the Red Devils have now lost seven of their last nine games across all competitions, leading to questions being asked of the Norwegian just a month after putting pen to paper.
The Express reports that Conte is delaying taking a new job as he waits to see the situation at United, who are understood to have considered the Italian as an option after initially sacking Mourinho.
Both Roma and Inter Milan are eager to appoint Conte during the summer, but he is hesitant to commit and would reportedly be more interested in the United job.
Conte has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last summer, with his final game seeing him topple United in the FA Cup final.
