Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has insisted that he is fully committed to the Bees despite being linked with the Man United job.
Man United are searching for a new manager after relieving Ten Hag of his duties following Sunday's narrow 2-1 defeat to West Ham United.
The Red Devils are looking for a manager who can spark an upturn in fortunes, with the club currently languishing in 14th place in the Premier League table.
According to ESPN, Man United are considering Frank as a potential candidate and are willing to make an enquiry about his availability.
However, the report claims that Frank's contract situation could prove to be a stumbling block, with the Dane's Brentford deal set to run until the summer of 2027.
Frank responds to Man United links
Frank was asked about the speculation linking with Man United ahead of Tuesday's EFL Cup clash against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Brentford head coach insisted that he is committed to the Bees despite leaving the door open to a potential big job in the future.
Frank told Sky Sports News: "I've got a big responsibility to Brentford, their fans, the leadership, players, staff and I have one focus - to beat Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow in the Carabao Cup.
"I've said many, many times, I'm very happy here. I think it's one of the best clubs in the world. What happens in the future, who knows? But I'm very, very happy here.
"I always try to be as transparent as possible. I would repeat myself. I'm very happy here and I can see myself here for a long, long time.
"I've also said that maybe if something comes up, an opportunity I'd like to try, OK let's see. But now? No. I'm very, very happy here."
Why is Frank being linked with Man United?
Frank was previously linked with the Man United job in the summer, before the Premier League giants opted to keep faith with Ten Hag.
The Brentford head coach has seemingly impressed the 20-time English champions with his exciting style of football and the impressive work that he has done during his time with the Bees.
After leading Brentford to promotion in 2020-21, Frank has gone on to establish the club as a Premier League outfit.
The West London club secured 13th and ninth-placed finishes, before they had to settle for 16th position in a difficult campaign in 2023-24.
Brentford have improved in the opening stages of the current season, with the Bees sitting in ninth spot after taking 13 points from nine matches. body check tags ::
