England Under-17s manager Greg Lincoln has named his 21-man squad for the upcoming European Championships in Cyprus, with the inclusion of two highly-rated North London products.

The Three Lions convene for this year's continental championships seeking their third Euros honour, having previously clinched the title in the 2010 and 2014 editions.

However, England were eliminated in the quarter-final stage of Euro 2023 by France, before going out in the last 16 of the 2023 Under-17 World Cup to Uzbekistan.

Back in March, the Three Lions triumphed in two of their three qualifying matches in Elite Group 1 - putting five past Northern Ireland and Hungary - to finish second behind group winners France.

Lincoln's side will reunite with France in a mouthwatering Group D also comprising Portugal and Spain, and players already boasting Premier League experience have been selected for the tournament.

The headline inclusion is 17-year-old Arsenal academy graduate Ethan Nwaneri, who memorably became the youngest player in the history of the Premier League in September 2022, aged just 15 years and 181 days.

Nwaneri made his second Premier League appearance off the bench in this season's 6-0 crushing of West Ham United and also scored 11 goals in 14 games for the Under-21s in this year's Premier League 2, seeing him rewarded with his first professional contract.

On the other side of North London, Tottenham Hotspur product Mikey Moore will also be gunning for glory in Cyprus on the back of breaking into the Lilywhites first team under Ange Postecoglou.

The 16-year-old had a direct hand in a remarkable 22 goals from 12 Under-18 Premier League matches - 14 of his own and eight assists - and he became the youngest Premier League player in Tottenham's history when he came off the bench for the seniors against Manchester City earlier this month.

Elsewhere, there is a place in the midfield ranks for 16-year-old Sunderland sensation Chris Rigg, who has already scored three goals in 25 games for the Black Cats first team and is thought to be attracting interest from top Premier League teams.

Further back, Manchester United's Harry Amass - a promising left-back who has made the bench for the Red Devils in the Premier League and FA Cup - has been chosen for the Euros, which for England begin with a reunion with France on Tuesday.

The Young Lions then tackle Portugal on May 24 and Spain on May 27 for the right to advance to the knockout rounds, which conclude with the final in Limassol on June 5.
