Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas believes that former mentor Jose Mourinho wants to win the World Cup with Portugal.
The current Real Madrid boss has frequently been linked with taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United once he retires, and recently received the Scot's blessing to do so.
However, Villas-Boas feels that 'The Special One' would be tempted to manage his own country one day.
"Here was a person coming out of a completely different education. He changed the way people trained. Changed the way people spoke about the game," said Villas-Boas.
"I have to say at this moment, if I am sitting here it is because Jose changed the legacy of Portuguese football.
"I think he will be extremely driven to win the World Cup for his country. And when that happens, when statistically he's the best manager that has ever been then I think he will finally leave the game."
Mourinho has been in charge at Madrid since 2010.
