Bruno Fernandes has revealed that his main ambition at Manchester United is to win the Premier League title.
United have won more English top-flight titles than any other club, but the most recent of their 20 came in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season at the helm seven years ago.
Since then the Red Devils have finished outside the top three six times, having not done so in any of the previous 22 seasons, but Fernandes has spoken of his desire to drag the club back to the summit of English football.
When asked for his main ambition at United, the Portugal international told Record: "To be champion of a league.
"In this case in the Premier League. It is certain that I already won with the selection (Portuguese national team), in the League of Nations. But of course I would like to win the European or the World Cup.
"Everyone has ambitions. But mine is to win the Premier League."
Fernandes is yet to finish on the losing side during his United career, scoring three goals and creating four more in nine appearances.
