Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick believes that Marouane Fellaini has the ability to make his mark in today's clash against Manchester City.
Fellaini signed for the Premier League champions from Everton for around £28m on transfer deadline day, and Carrick feels that the Belgian can impose himself in the Manchester derby.
"Now, it's the big one against City and it's in these types of games that you want as many forceful players as possible in the side," The Mirror quotes Carrick as saying.
"He brings something different to the squad, which is why the manager bought him, and he has done well in the time he's been here.
"We now have other options with Felly. With Tom Cleverley and Anderson also in there, it's tough for the manager (David Moyes) to pick his midfield."
Today's derby will be held at the Etihad Stadium.
