Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has returned to light training following an operation on his Achilles.
The 32-year-old sustained the injury while on international duty with England last month, and subsequently withdrew.
He was initially expected to be out until late December, but his returned to Carrington has come earlier than expected after a break in Dubai.
Carrick recently signed a new deal with the Red Devils, which commits him to the club for another two-and-a-half years, with the option of another 12 months.
