Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has insisted that he and his teammates feel prepared for next weekend's Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils rounded off their pre-season tour of the United States with a 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain overnight.
Prior to that, Louis van Gaal's side sealed wins over Club America, San Jose Earthquakes and Barcelona.
"It's all about Tottenham - that's what we've been saying since we got here," Carrick told MUTV. "That's when the business really starts.
"We've had some good games over here to get us ready. If the games are too easy, you don't get enough out of them. So the Barcelona game and this one have been good for us and we can take things into the Tottenham game."
United finished fourth last season.
