Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has admitted that the loss of Darren Fletcher is another major setback for the club.
The Scotland captain has been forced to take an 'extended break' from football due to a chronic inflammatory bowel condition.
"I am gutted for Fletch. I'm not too sure about what it is, but I'm afraid it is bad news for him and bad news for the team," Cleverley told Sky Sports News.
"He is a massive player for us and it is a shame, because we are having a bit of a problem in centre-midfield."
Cleverley, 22, is out until the New Year with an ankle injury.
