Cristiano Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, has officially signed a contract with Manchester United.

The 11-year-old has featured for the club's academy side a number of times since his father secured a return to Old Trafford from Juventus during last summer's transfer window.

The youngster has now penned an official deal with the 20-time English champions, showing off the number seven shirt during a presentation alongside teammate Gabriel.

Ronaldo Jr, who does not have his own social media account, is joined in the Man United academy system by Wayne Rooney's son, Kai Rooney.

Ronaldo Sr will be bidding to end a five-game scoring drought on Saturday when Ralf Rangnick's side welcome Southampton to Old Trafford in the Premier League.
