Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has thanked supporters for their "unconditional support" after deciding to sign a new contract at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal, just 10 days after his proposed move to Real Madrid fell through.
On Twitter, De Gea wrote: "I feel proud to announce that I'll continue with you and @manutd. Thanks for your unconditional support!"
The 24-year-old is yet to play a single competitive game for United this season, but could return for this Saturday's clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
