Manchester United winger Memphis Depay has revealed that he has often turned to assistant manager Ryan Giggs for advice ever since he joined the club last summer.
Depay, who cost £25m from PSV Eindhoven, has by his own admission so far struggled to live up to the expectations that come with life as a United player.
However, with Giggs to lean on for guidance, the 22-year-old has insisted that he could not have a better role model.
"Ryan Giggs is a legend. He talks a lot with me and gives me advice to equip me. He has experienced everything already so he helps with all kinds of things, he works a lot with me," the Netherlands international told reporters at a London-based event for sportswear firm Under Armour.
"Working with him makes me even hungrier on the training ground, it makes me want to try new things.
"I ask him for advice because he's been there; he knows how to read the circumstances, how to handle situations. It is really inspiring and, at the same time, helpful."
Depay has found the net six times in all competitions this term.
