Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel has hit out at Adnan Januzaj by accusing the Manchester United winger of having a bad attitude during his loan spell at the German club.
Januzaj joined the Bundesliga outfit last summer on a season-long loan, but it was cut short earlier this week at the request of United.
Tuchel has claimed that the 20-year-old, who did not start a single league game during his stay, did not show enough "desire".
"It is a pity he did not show the desire and attitude you need to progress at his age," Tuchel told Bild. "My feeling was that he never was completely with us, that a part of him always stayed in Manchester and he compared everything here with United.
"We were not able to help him to shake that off. They are coming to us to ask for a second chance."
Januzaj joined United's academy from Anderlecht in 2011 and made his senior debut in 2013.
