Jonny Evans has been ruled out of Manchester United's encounter with Liverpool this afternoon because of a hamstring injury.
The Northern Ireland international had been tipped to start against one of United's biggest rivals.
However, he failed a fitness test this morning and the club have decided not to risk the problem getting any worse.
The 25-year-old has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season.
