Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believes that the Premier League champions are capable of coping without injured Antonio Valencia.
The Red Devils winger will miss a month of action after picking up a hamstring problem during United's 2-0 victory over Ajax in the Europa League clash last night.
"It's a really big blow because Antonio's been a fantastic player for us this season," said Ferdinand. "But when somebody gets injured or loses form at this club the manager can always call upon another player to perform.
"This is the stage of the season where we need players back and a few of the lads got some good minutes under their belts."
Tom Cleverley made his return to Sir Alex Ferguson's starting lineup last night after four months on the sidelines with injury.
