Sir Alex Ferguson thinks that Tottenham play the "best football in the country" at the moment.

Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Tottenham Hotspur can rival Manchester United for the Premier League title this season.

The North London side are third in the league table, seven points adrift of joint leaders United and Manchester City.

"Tottenham can definitely win it," said Ferguson. "They play the best football in the country and their current form is the best in the country."

The Red Devils don't meet Harry Redknapp's side until Saturday, March 3 at White Hart Lane.
