Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he regards former player Park Ji-Sung as "selfless".
His former boss has admitted that the South Korean midfielder, who left for Queens Park Rangers in the summer, was invaluable during some of the club's important matches.
Ferguson told the club's official website: "He was truly fantastic, particularly in big games. I loved playing him in the big games. His record against Arsenal, for instance, was fantastic.
"The Milan games over there and at Old Trafford, when I asked Park to play directly against (Andrea) Pirlo, are memorable.
"He was selfless. He played for the team and whatever role you gave him, he would stick to that role. He was a really wonderful, disciplined professional for us."
Park is an injury doubt ahead of his potential return to Old Trafford with Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
