Bruno Fernandes became just the fourth Manchester United player to register in five successive away matches in the Premier League when he found the back of the net against Southampton on Sunday.
The Portugal international has been a revelation for the Red Devils since arriving from Sporting Lisbon in January, scoring 22 times and registering 13 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.
The 26-year-old made it 10 goals in 14 outings during the 2020-21 campaign when he scored against the Saints, meanwhile, with his strike halving the deficit before Edinson Cavani netted twice in the latter stages to secure a 3-2 win for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
Fernandes equalled a goalscoring record at St Mary's as he became just the fourth United player after Ruud van Nistelrooy, Robin van Persie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score in five consecutive away Premier League games.
The Portuguese has netted against Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United and Everton on the road this term, in addition to registering against Leicester City on the final weekend of last season.
Fernandes has now netted seven times in nine Premier League outings during the 2020-21 campaign.
