Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs has admitted his excitement at the capabilities of the squad, following their heavy summer investment.
The Red Devils spent around £150m on Angel di Maria, Luke Shaw, Ander Herrera, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind, while Monaco striker Radamel Falcao arrived on loan.
Giggs is quoted as saying by talkSPORT: "Obviously we've made a lot of investment this season and I think the new boys are just starting to settle in. It's exciting, we're fourth in the table and we're looking to build from there.
"We've got a tough few weeks coming up with West Brom and then the real tests against Chelsea and Man City. That will be a tester to see where we are. It's a challenge."
United travel to West Bromwich Albion on Monday.
