Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has claimed that the club would benefit from completing a deal to sign Nemanja Vidic.
Reports on Thursday suggested that Inter were edging closer to agreeing terms with Vidic, whose contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the season.
"I don't know Vidic personally but I think his career speaks for itself," Handanovic told Sky Sport Italia. "He would strengthen us."
Vidic has won the Premier League five times since joining United from Spartak Moscow in 2006.
