Goalkeeper Joe Hart has insisted that Wayne Rooney's uncertain future at Manchester United will not hinder his display against Scotland on Wednesday.
Rooney is eager to leave Old Trafford, with Chelsea registering an interest in signing the forward, but Hart does not believe that the speculation will harm his performance in the Wembley fixture.
The 26-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Wayne's Wayne, he trains the same, works hard, and he is always out half-an-hour before everyone because he just seems to love football. That's him, and I don't think that will ever change.
"He has got stuff going on in his own life and his own football career, but at moment, he is here with England and I am pretty sure that all he is focused on is Wednesday night."
Rooney missed United's Community Shield victory over Wigan Athletic on Sunday, but England boss Roy Hodgson has insisted that the 27-year-old is fit to play against Scotland.
