Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has revealed that the integrity of the Premier League has caused him to "fall in love" with playing in England.
The Spaniard arrived from Athletic Bilbao for around £30m in the summer, and he said that he has been delighted with the overall level of fair play in England's top tier.
He told the Daily Express: "I have fallen in love with the Premier League. There is a respect for the game and the rules, and players don't dive, as that is seen in a very poor light.
"I have to thank [former coach] Marcelo Bielsa for his advice. He said referees are there to help you, not to be conned, and that has stayed with me.
"England is the ideal place for me to succeed. People are patient, and there is more fuss in Spain with the media, opinions and supporters. Here the fans back you unconditionally, and people believe in the players' honesty and professionalism."
