England manager Roy Hodgson has claimed that Monday's goalless draw between Manchester United and Chelsea was the best game that he has attended this season.
The stalemate at Old Trafford was considered by many to be an anti-climactic affair as both sides failed to create many chances in front of goal.
When it was put to him that the match was dull, Hodgson told reporters: "I don't agree. It was by far the best of the games I've seen. I really enjoyed the game, I'm sad to hear others didn't. I'm obviously out of sync."
Hodgson was talking to the press following his England squad announcement for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.
