The father of Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj has revealed that the winger will not represent Kosovo in their friendly against Haiti on March 5.
The Kosovo Football Federation have been in talks with the 19-year-old ahead of their first ever full international next month.
However, Januzaj's father Abedin has claimed that due to Kosovo not being an official FIFA member, the international playing future of his son is still yet to be decided.
"I was born there and I would like my son to play for the national team of my country, but the matter is delicate, because the Kosovo FA is not yet a member of FIFA," Abedin told Kosovan TV station Kohavision.
"Maybe one day Adnan will play for Kosovo, but for now, this will not happen, and we have a lot of time to think about everything."
Januzaj is eligible to represent Belgium, Turkey, Albania, Serbia and England.
