Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard has said that he is enjoying his "best" season at the club, adding that he hopes to claim a spot in England's World Cup squad this summer.
The England international, who recently earned the Three Lions a 1-0 win over the Netherlands, has also netted 13 goals for his club this term, a career-highest.
Lingard told Sky Sports News that he is aiming to push on with a view to boarding the plane to Russia in June.
"It's been a great, positive week," the 25-year-old said. "This season has been my best season, I don't know what to put it down to.
"The goals obviously help, something has clicked this season. I've got to carry on now until the end and see what happens in the summer.
"I've got the get to the end of the season, do well for my club and perform for Manchester United."
United face Swansea City at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon looking to consolidate a spot in the Premier League's top four.
