Phil Jones has claimed that Manchester United's busy pre-season will benefit the players as they will all get minutes under their belts ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.
The Red Devils itinerary begins with a tour of the United States which will see them play five matches between July 15 and July 26.
A trip to Norwegian capital Oslo to play Valerenga then follows on July 30, before Jose Mourinho's charges take on Sampdoria in Dublin on August 2.
"The more matches you play, the more match-fit you are and seven games will give everyone a chance to get minutes under their belts," Jones said on the club's official website. "You need everyone at a good level for the start of the season.
"We know exactly what the manager expects from us and he knows the players inside and out. He'll have organised this pre-season period exactly how he wants it - when we'll train, when we'll rest and when we'll have commercial work to do. I'm sure it will be a great tour and I'm looking forward to it."
After their pre-season fixtures, the Europa League winners will take on Champions League winners Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup in Macedonia on August 8, four days before the start of the new Premier League season.
