Juan Mata has said that he is hopeful Manchester United have turned a corner following their 2-1 win over Swansea City at the weekend.
The Red Devils headed into the clash against the Swans without a victory from their last eight outings in all competitions.
However, having returned to winning ways, the Spanish playmaker has switched his attention to a "good run of results" being collected from United's upcoming fixtures.
"Finally, we [won] on Saturday against Swansea. You could see how tough it was, but I think we deserved the three points," the 27-year-old wrote in his blog.
"I hope this is going to be the start of a good run of results. It depends on us. They were a difficult opponent with good players who have made things tough for us in the last few seasons, but this time we were able to win so we start 2016 in the best possible way."
Next up for United is a FA Cup encounter against League One side Sheffield United.
