Jesse Lingard has expressed his desire to be a regular member of the Manchester United senior squad.
The 20-year-old is yet to play a competitive fixture for the Red Devils, but he found the net twice during this afternoon's pre-season friendly win in Australia.
Having received a number of plaudits for his performance, the midfielder has conceded that he is hoping to be given more opportunities.
"Yes, [being in the senior squad is] good. You want to be with them regularly. You want to get used to how they train and how they prepare for games," he told MUTV. "The lads have been great, the banter's flying about and they've welcomed the young lads into the squad very well."
Lingard, who had a loan stint with Leicester City last season, joined United's academy back in 2009.
