Federico Macheda has admitted that he still hopes to establish himself at Manchester United.
The striker, who is currently on loan at Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season, has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford since making his debut in 2009.
"I am still owned by Manchester United," the 20-year-old told Radio Mana Mana.
"I don't know what the future will hold, but I will definitely go back to Sir Alex Ferguson's club at the end of my loan spell.
"My dream is to establish myself in a United shirt, even though I know that will be difficult. I will do all I can to make that happen."
Macheda has failed to find the target in six appearances for the R's this season.
