Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of new assistant coach Albert Stuivenberg.
Manager Louis van Gaal, who is currently preparing the Netherlands for their World Cup semi-final against Argentina in Brazil, has added to his coaching team ahead of his Old Trafford arrival.
Reports emerged over the weekend regarding the 44-year-old's appointment, but the Red Devils have officially confirmed that Stuivenberg will begin work with Van Gaal's number two Ryan Giggs immediately.
The Dutchman joins the former Premier League champions following a stint as the Netherlands Under-21 coach.
