Manchester United have reportedly shortlisted Juventus boss Antonio Conte as a contender for the managerial role left behind by David Moyes.
The Red Devils are expected to appoint a new coach in the summer after deciding to part company with Moyes on Tuesday, less than 10 months after giving him the job.
While Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal has been widely tipped to arrive in the Old Trafford hotseat, United are said to be considering Conte as an alternative after speaking to the Italian, according to The Telegraph.
The 44-year-old, who comes to the end of his Juve contract in 2015, is believed to be one of a number of candidates, including Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.
Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp insisted on Thursday that he had not received an offer from United, and reiterated that he wants to stay at the Bundesliga club.
