Manchester United are reportedly in no rush to complete the signing of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
Despite a summer-long pursuit for a new centre-back, United are yet to close a deal, leaving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a race against time to strengthen his squad before the end of the transfer window.
There has been suggestions that the Norwegian is keen to wrap up the transfer of Maguire - allegedly valued at £80m - as soon as possible.
However, according to the London Evening Standard, United are prepared to let the ongoing saga continue until the closing hours on August 8.
The Foxes are said to have turned down United's latest bid for the England international, believing that an improved bid will eventually arrive in the coming days.
The 26-year-old is unlikely to play any part of Leicester's pre-season friendly with Atalanta BC on Friday night.
