Juan Mata has warned his Manchester United teammates not to get carried away by their 2-1 win away to rivals Liverpool.
The Spaniard scored both goals for United on Sunday as they left Anfield with an important victory in their quest for Champions League qualification.
While admitting that he enjoyed a memorable day on Merseyside, Mata insists that there is still plenty of hard work ahead for the team this season.
"Beating Liverpool at Anfield, being lucky to score two nice goals and feeling gratitude is something I will never forget, but we must be cautious: these are just three points in the race to our goal," he told the club's official website.
"This Sunday has been one of the happiest days of my career. Besides, the game was also important because both teams were close on the table, fighting for a place in the Champions League next season. It has been an unforgettable day for me."
United's Premier League campaign gets back underway on April 4 when Aston Villa travel to Old Trafford.
