Former England coach Steve McClaren has revealed that Paul Scholes is the best footballer he has ever managed.
The Manchester United midfielder has announced that he will retire at the end of the season.
"People always ask me when I go around the world, who is the best player you have ever coached and that player is Paul Scholes," he told BBC Sport.
"He could do anything with the ball. The only thing he cannot do is tackle!"
Scholes has played in over 450 Premier League matches for United.
