Dion Dublin has conceded that he was "fortunate to play with Paul Scholes" during his time at Manchester United.
Former striker Dublin joined the Red Devils in the summer of 1992, but broke his leg soon after. However, during his rehabilitation, Dublin played alongside a young Scholes in the reserve team.
The midfielder will retire at the end of the season and Dublin has described his ex-teammate as a "genius".
"I was fortunate to play with Paul Scholes. He was just a genius at 17 and 18. He has been so consistent for such a long period of time, under Sir Alex," he told BBC Sport.
