Steve McClaren has admitted that Newcastle United will have to be "wary" when they face Memphis Depay in their Premier League clash with Manchester United.
The Magpies, who are still looking for their first win of the season, travel to Old Trafford tomorrow to face Louis van Gaal's side, who have maximum points from their first two games.
The manager told the club's website: "I've seen him play many times in Holland when I was there and he's a very good player. What is good about him as a winger is that he's got an end product and unfortunately for us, he's beginning to show that at Manchester United.
"That's why he's cost so much, because a lot of wingers these days don't have an end product. But he does and that's why we'll have to be wary of him."
Depay opened his goal-scoring account for the club on Tuesday, netting a brace in the 3-1 win over Club Brugge in the first leg of a Champions League playoff.
