Manchester United's out-of-favour attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan was reportedly involved in a training-ground row with Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho last month.
Mkhitaryan started the 2017-18 campaign in impressive form, but the 28-year-old has not made United's 18-man squad in seven of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Mourinho recently claimed that the decision to omit the Armenian international was due to the fact that he had players more deserving of a position on current form.
However, according to ESPN, Mkhitaryan's absence is down to a row with Mourinho, which took place during a video analysis session at the club's training ground last month.
The report claims that Mkhitaryan was unhappy to be singled out in the analysis following the Brighton & Hove Albion match on November 25, and the pair engaged in an argument which continued into the corridor.
Inter Milan have been credited with an interest in the attacker, while Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be exploring the possibility of bringing him back to the Bundesliga.
