Ravel Morrison is targeting an immediate return to the Premier League, following his move to West Ham United.
The 18-year-old midfielder left Manchester United for Upton Park on deadline day for a fee which could rise to £2m.
Morrison, who was also a target of Newcastle United, told whufc.com: "I'm really pleased to have signed.
"The move has happened very quickly and I'm looking forward to hopefully moving up to the Premier League with West Ham soon.
"I'm an attacking player and I'm hoping to get the fans on their feet."
Morrison had made two substitute appearances for the Red Devils this season, both in the Carling Cup.
