Manchester United manager David Moyes has praised Wayne Rooney for the performances that he has put in for the club this season.
The England international has scored 13 and assisted a further 10 goals during his 25 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.
Speaking about the striker's displays ahead of tomorrow's Manchester derby, Moyes said: "His form throughout the season has been very good. He's spoken about a lot because of the ability that he's got as a footballer. From the first game, he's been a great team player."
Rooney, 28, is the leading goalscorer in Manchester derby history.
