Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has launched a scathing attack on Paul Scholes following the Manchester United legend's criticism of his client.
Scholes slammed Pogba's inconsistency and lack of leadership in the wake of United's 3-2 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, while also claiming that the Frenchman's post-match admission that he went into the game with the wrong attitude was indefensible.
However, Raiola has hit back at the 11-time Premier League winner, sarcastically suggesting that Scholes should advise chief executive Ed Woodward to sell Pogba.
"Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten. Paul Scholes wouldn't recognize a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill," Raiola wrote on Twitter.
"Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club."
Pogba's future at Old Trafford has once again come under scrutiny recently following reports of a fresh fallout with manager Jose Mourinho.
