Mino Raiola: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic can play well into his 40s'

Manchester United's Zlatan Ibrahimovic still has plenty more left in the tank and will continue playing for at least another five or six years, agent Mino Raiola claims.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has suggested that the Manchester United striker still has a "minimum of another five or six years" left in him.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona ace, who turned 36 earlier this month, has been out of action since April with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

That did not stop United boss Jose Mourinho offering Ibrahimovic a new contract, however, seeing him through at Old Trafford until at least the end of the campaign.

Raiola is confident that the superstar forward still has plenty more to offer, whether at United or elsewhere, despite his recent spell on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury problem.

"He has so much in him. I think minimum of another five or six years. I won't let him stop, he has to work for me now," The Sun quotes him as saying.

"I have been working for him for several years. Now it's my turn. My children are grown up and I need money. We have agreed that he is only working for me for five years now. So we're flipping it now. The salary comes to me and he gets the commission."

United legend Andy Cole revealed earlier this week that Ibrahimovic is aiming to return to first-team action before the end of the year.
