Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick was delighted that his side were able to secure a clean sheet in Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils claimed all three points against the Eagles courtesy of a second-half effort from Fred, with Patrick Vieira's side unable to make the breakthrough down the other end of the field.
The clean sheet was Man United's first at Old Trafford in the Premier League this season, and Rangnick was pleased that his side were able to produce a shootout in his first match at the helm.
"These kinds of players are always able to score goals. Today we had to have some patience but we are able to score goals so as long as we keep clean sheets - it was only the third clean sheet this season - as you say, we are always able to win," Rangnick told reporters.
The victory moved the 20-time English champions into sixth position in the Premier League table, just three points behind fourth-placed West Ham United.
Man United will be bidding to make it three league wins in a row when they make the trip to Carrow Road next weekend to take on basement side Norwich City.
