Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has said that he is not paying attention to the recent speculation linking him with the managerial post at Manchester United.
Paris Saint-Germain's Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax's Erik ten Hag are regarded as the two favourites for the position at Old Trafford, with interim head coach Ralf Rangnick set to step aside this summer.
However, a recent report claimed that Man United had added Hasenhuttl to their shortlist, having been impressed with the Austrian's work at St Mary's.
Southampton are currently ninth in the Premier League table and put in a strong display in a 1-1 draw with the Red Devils at Old Trafford last month.
The 54-year-old, who worked with Rangnick at RB Leipzig, has said that it is not worth giving any time to the recent talk surrounding a potential move to the 20-time English champions.
"When I discuss every list I have been on in the last two months, I would not have time any more for working or doing my job. The only thing I can say is it shows that we don't do everything wrong here," Hasenhuttl told reporters when asked about the Man United speculation.
Rangnick, who is expected to have a role in deciding the team's next permanent manager, lavished praise on Hasenhuttl before the two managers locked horns in the Premier League last month. body check tags ::
